Jaggu (Kader Khan) and Bhaggu (Shakti Kapoor) are two simple hearted souls who live under one roof and earn their living as folk singers and dancers at marriage functions and other celebrations in the village.

Chander, Jaggu's son and Kamla, Bhaggu's daughter are engaged to each other in their childhood itself. Chander is admitted in a school in city. Both Bhaggu and Jaggu put their all the hard earned money to educate Chander.

Years pass, Chander is now ready to take on the world and is enamoured by the beauty of Pinky whom he rescues from the vagabonds. She is attracted towards him too. Pinky leads Chander out of his mundane existence into the world of elite. Blinded by hte money and glamour, Chander refuses to marry Kamla with whom he was engaged in the childhood.

Jaggu pleads, begs and requests his son Chander to accept Kamla, Chander who is living in the world of high status even disowns his father as his relationship would spoil his career and position.

One day Jaggu and Bhaggu happen to find Chander being engaged to Pinky, daughter of Mr. Khanna, a rich man. Learning of this development, Kamla feels like ending her life. Jaggu then takes the pledge that he would change life for themselves and Kamla. He would make her a super star. He would revenge indults, rejections with determination.

Will Jaggu, Bhaggu and Kamla succeed in their mission?

Will Khanna and Pinky allow Chander to slip away?

Will Kamla be able to get back her Chander from the clutches of the high and rich society?
